2007 Mahi Gill was seen in Mitti Wajaan Mardi, a romantic drama, about a Punjabi family that is separated when the father moves overseas and gets married a second time to get American citizenship.
2008 She acted in Sameep Kang’s Chakk De Phatte, a Punjabi comedy about four Punjabi lads woo-ing a NRI girl.
2009 Mahi landed the role of Paro in the modern day adaptation of Devdas called Dev D directed by Anurag Kashyap. Her other release is Kashyap’s Gulaal set in Rajasthan.
